What it's about
A gamer creates Renoc for WORLD Ver. 3.0 by pushing magical talent to the absolute limit and accepting brutal penalties in exchange. The build looks entertaining when Renoc is only a character: overwhelming magical potential paired with a sickly body, insomnia, mana addiction and a drastically shortened lifespan. Then the player wakes up inside Renoc's body and discovers that those penalties are now real. Stranded in the enormous city of Valkan, Renoc has the talent to become an extraordinary mage but barely has the health to keep moving. Drugs such as Vyper can temporarily restore enough strength for him to use his abilities, forcing him to balance survival, dependency and dangerous magical work while searching for a way to endure the world he once treated as a game.
