What it's about
Lee Jinyong once dreamed of becoming a baseball player, but repeated injuries, a weak physique, and financial hardship forced him to give up the sport and work in a factory. Ten years after the death of legendary Korean baseball hero Kim Jinho—Jinyong's longtime idol—Jinyong suddenly begins seeing Kim's ghost. At the same time, a mysterious Baseball Manager system activates and gives Jinyong a game-like way to build the physical qualities and pitching ability he lacked. With a second chance in front of him, he returns to baseball and starts climbing toward the top of the mound.
