What it's about
Ian Ferkus is the second son of a rural viscount and a third-year student in the academy's swordsmanship department. One morning, he finds a letter he does not remember receiving. It claims to come from seven years in the future, calls Ian a hero, and warns that the world will perish if the future is not protected. When Ian reaches the academy, he discovers that an entire week has disappeared from his memory and that, during that missing time, he defeated a previously unbeaten junior. As events described in the letter begin coming true—including an attack on his friend Emma—Ian can no longer dismiss the message as a prank and begins investigating the future, his missing memories, and the person he is apparently destined to become.
