What it's about
Chen Zhiliao is a straight-A student and kendo prodigy who starts playing a game to get closer to a girl he likes. During a thunderstorm he is struck by lightning and wakes inside the game world itself, unable to log out. His lack of gaming experience becomes immediately dangerous when powerful monsters appear before he has had time to understand the rules. Forced to survive on his own, Chen begins using the world's system mechanics, combat opportunities, and his real-world sword training to grow stronger. As gods and increasingly dangerous enemies enter the picture, getting back to reality becomes inseparable from learning what this world actually is and why he was brought there.
