Shi ni Itaru Yamai

Kazuma Futaba is eighteen and beginning college with the goal of becoming a clinical psychologist. He takes a room in an old mansion and meets Emiru Ariga, a pale and mysterious young woman suffering from what those around her describe as an illness of the spirit: despair. Her psychological condition has disturbing physical effects, including unusually low body temperature and other abnormal symptoms. Convinced that understanding the source of Emiru's despair may help save her, Kazuma becomes increasingly involved in her life, turning their relationship into a tense mixture of care, dependency, attraction and psychological danger.
