What it's about
Transported into the game he was playing, Ed Rothstaylor wakes up as a minor antagonist who has already lost his fortune and been expelled from the dormitory. He has no heroic ambitions: he only wants to stay alive, avoid the story's main routes, and graduate without attracting attention. But in an academy where the game's major events, heroines, and crises keep unfolding, remaining an ordinary extra proves nearly impossible. To avoid a bad ending, Ed relies on his knowledge of the game, practical instincts, and an ability to adapt that is stronger than it first appears.
