What it's about
Marnac never intended to become anyone important. He had built an intentionally terrible character in a game, choosing the despised Cleric of Decay class before being pulled into that world himself. Now he is the last priest of the Order of Decay, a faith treated as an enemy by practically everyone around him. The goddess he serves has lost her body and survives as an animated, withered hand whose favorite demand is "MURDER!" Armed with powers drawn from corruption rather than conventional holy magic, Marnac has to survive the hostility his calling attracts while a prophecy warning of the end of the world hangs over his journey.
