The Regressor and the Blind Saint

Vera survives by trampling over others, making ruthless bargains and hiding in the darkest corners of a world threatened by the Demon King. When the war finally ends, the consequences of that life catch up with him and a curse leaves him waiting for death alone. Then he meets Renee, the blind saint everyone believes is already dead. Scarred and powerless-looking, she nevertheless treats Vera with extraordinary kindness and gives him a reason to live differently. When Renee eventually dies, Vera is unable to save her. He is then sent back to the past and swears that in this life he will find her first, protect her, and repay the salvation she once gave him. But when Renee's holy stigma awakens, churches, empires, kingdoms, dragonians and servants of the night all begin moving around the saint whose future can change the continent.
