The Tale of Cultivation and Demon Extermination

Yise kills the demon that murdered his parents, but the violence of his revenge frightens the very villagers he might have expected to understand him. Branded a monster and left with little reason to keep living, he meets Mongryeon, a dokkaebi who hunts demons. Their time together gives Yise a larger, more terrible aim: to wipe out the demons that prey on the world. When Mongryeon notices an unusual quality in him, Yise is sent to Daemudo, a cultivation sect feared as the executioners of the immortal realm, to turn raw hatred into the strength his vow demands.
