What it's about
Lee Le Ting is an eighteen-year-old Taiwanese taekwondo Olympic gold medalist with a fearsome temper, immense confidence and almost no interest in romance. After clashing with her grandfather over her decision to leave competitive taekwondo, she heads to New York and becomes the focus of Louis, a fabulously wealthy and famously handsome European bachelor who fell for her at first sight. Louis uses every excuse he can find—including work and advertising projects—to stay near her, but Le Ting answers his relentless courtship with suspicion, anger and, when necessary, her fists. Their relationship grows through constant clashes, jealousy, family pressure and the challenge of two people with completely different ideas about love.
